Driving lets you follow the Atlanta-to-Dahlonega route on your own schedule, but the airport and the city are not the same starting point. Once you leave the airport area, use the GA-400 N/US-19 N approach from Atlanta, then continue toward Dahlonega on GA-60 N/US-19 N/S Chestatee Street.

ATL’s Rental Car Center is at 2200 Rental Car Center Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30337. From the terminal, walk from its west end under the covered walkway, take the escalator to the SkyTrain station, then ride the SkyTrain to the center.

A complimentary terminal-to-terminal shuttle connector also serves the Domestic Terminal, International Terminal and Rental Car Center, running approximately every 15 minutes.

At the International Terminal, pickup is on the Arrival level outer curb, across the crosswalk outside door A1 or A2. Check ATL’s official site before you go for current pickup details.

UNG’s airport shuttle is restricted to its international students and scholars and serves the Atlanta airport and the UNG Dahlonega campus. It is not a general public shuttle, so it is not an option for most visitors.
